In order to redress the country’s economic situation and achieve the structural transformation of the economy, the Comoros government has drawn up a development strategy called “Accelerated Growth and Sustainable Development Strategies SCA2D” for the period 2015-2019. Among other things, this strategy has defined as priorities the development of quality infrastructure, the improvement of the business climate and support for the private sector. It should eventually make it easier for entrepreneurs to access public procurement, support services, financing and training. In addition, economic players such as the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture), aware of the many difficulties faced by entrepreneurs, are working today to create an economic environment. in favor of starting a business. Already, encouraging initiatives like the Comoros Business Awards have been launched by UCCIA to reward the most active entrepreneurs with innovative projects.
